Vehicle fire and crash block Highway 101 southbound

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a passenger vehicle fire and possible crash on southbound Highway 101 a few miles south of the Aromas Valley exit. The vehicle was no longer on fire when units arrived, and the driver was reported to be conscious with no apparent injuries, but the vehicle was blocking the roadway and the southbound lanes were temporarily closed. A responding battalion unit was later canceled.
