Smoke alarm at commercial building on Main Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a reported fire alarm at a commercial building near Main Street in Ashland. A smoke detector activated and occupants waited outside while firefighters investigated, with no smoke or fire initially visible. During related radio traffic, EMS also responded to a separate medical call for an elderly man at a care facility on an upper floor in the region.
