Shoplifting suspects flee west from Atkins stores

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic reports a possible shoplifting series involving multiple suspects at two stores in the Atkins area along Highway 64. At least one group reportedly ran into the store, took numerous items, and left without paying. The suspects then apparently drove westbound toward Pottsville in a white car, possibly a Malibu or a Cadillac with temporary paper tags. Officers were advised to watch for the vehicle and to check nearby stores for related thefts.
