Stolen car recovered on Route 36 near Arthur Road

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of a possible stolen vehicle taken from a residence on South First Street in Garrett. The vehicle was reportedly driven away by a known individual along with the owner’s keys and purse. Deputies from another county located the suspected stolen vehicle on a traffic stop on Route 36 just east of Arthur-Atwood Road and held the stop while local units responded.
