Elder abuse and financial exploitation reported

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers received a report of possible elder abuse and financial exploitation involving an elderly woman with dementia at a residence near Foote Street in Beckley. A caller reported concerns that a male acquaintance may have been writing checks for large amounts of money using the woman’s funds and requested law enforcement response.
