Fire crews investigate attic smoke report near G Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Belle Chasse responded to an apartment on G Street for a possible fire or smoke in the attic after a tenant reported seeing light. Firefighters investigated and determined the light was sunlight coming through a roof vent, and no fire hazards were found.
