Mother chasing child with broom at Bessemer City home

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers received multiple calls about a possible family assault at a home near NC Highway 161 and West Alabama Avenue in Bessemer City. A mother was reportedly chasing a young child with a broom and trying to hit her, while another child was also inside the residence. The call disconnected more than once, and responders were sent for an apparent assault involving a weapon.
