Smoke in area found to be controlled burn

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews investigated reports of black smoke near Southwest State Route 7 and East Colbern Road in Blue Springs. Police advised that the smoke was from a controlled burn on Colbern Road, and the responding engine was returned to service.
