Lightning damages power lines, triggers fire alarm

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Bridgehampton responded to an automatic fire alarm at a building on Hoffman Lane off Bridge Road. The alarm was upgraded to a second alarm and later described as a possible zone one water flow alarm. Units at the scene determined there was no active fire and that a downed utility line and partial power outage appeared to be the main issue, and the utility company was requested to respond.
