Runaway child found safe near high school

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of a runaway child from a restaurant on South Main Street. The eight-year-old boy reportedly left on a dirt bike after an argument near a pool. Callers later reported seeing him walking near the local high school toward a nearby business. Officers and the child’s parents responded to the area, and the child was eventually located safely. A separate alert for a previously reported stolen vehicle was canceled after the vehicle was found.
