As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a report of a dog locked in a hot car near a business on West Main Street in Butler. A 911 text reported the dog had been in the vehicle overnight without food or water and appeared to be in distress. The vehicle was described as a four-door car with a pink bag on the hood, parked near a loading door next to a truck at the business.
