Attempted theft suspect flees store on East Park

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a store near East Park Street in Butte for a possible attempted shoplifting. A male reportedly tried to take items, may have had a gun or a taser in his back pocket, then left heading east on Park Street and said he would return. The store was locked while officers searched the area. In a separate call, responders were sent to Continental Drive near Holy Spirit Church, where juveniles at a lemonade stand were reportedly running into the street in front of vehicles.
