Couple fighting outside SUV at First and Hermosa

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were sent to the area of First Street and Hermosa in Carlsbad for a possible domestic assault. Multiple callers reported a man and woman physically fighting near a maroon small SUV, possibly a Honda CR-V, and one caller said the man grabbed the woman and slapped her across the face. The vehicle was described as having sparkly, bedazzled license plate covers and was reported leaving the area before officers made contact with it elsewhere.
