As discussed during the dispatch call, officers requested a new traffic stop number while stopping a white BMW and later a black Ford Mustang with North Carolina plates at an apartment complex on Providence Road in Charlotte. Another unit mentioned a separate call about a possible decomposing odor in a restroom at a different Providence Road location and requested contact numbers for a nearby convenience store on North Wendover Road.
