Smoke odor and burn mark near furnace in home

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews were dispatched to a single-family home near Fairways Lane in Chelsea for a report of smoke odor and a burn mark on a white pipe next to the furnace. The sole occupant reported no visible flames and waited outside.
