What person in their right mind would think to hurt themselves with a stapler? A person screaming for help!! This person has deep rooted feelings of self loathing and feeling worthless but can't quite get over that hump to kill themselves. Some may view it as a attention stunt but when it comes to self harm....it's never a stunt for attention......they know that change needs to happen but they lack the resources to do it by themselves and left alone, it will eventually get worse until they snap and either kill themselves or someone else.
