Cooking smoke triggers residential fire alarm

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units were sent to a residential fire alarm at a multi‑story wood building near Deer Hill Avenue in Danbury. Crews investigated and it was determined to be smoke from cooking, with one engine handling and the backup unit cleared to return to service.
