Report of child being hit during welfare check

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies were sent for a welfare check at a home near South 4th Street in Douglass after a caller reported that a girlfriend’s father was possibly hitting a young child in the home. The caller left the residence and waited at a nearby pool, and no weapons were reported.
