Barrel placed in roadway creates traffic hazard

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatch received a report of a barrel placed in the middle of State Highway 240 near a highway intersection, creating a possible road hazard. Deputies responded to check and clear the apparent roadblock; no vehicle was reported to be involved.
