Wildfire evacuations and road closures in Eureka

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic describes apparent wildfire evacuation operations in and around Eureka. Units are told to stage at the Tintic High School field, and people seeking shelter are directed to an LDS chapel. Both sides of Clark Street and addresses along Godiva Street are reported evacuated. A resident on West Leffel Road states he will stay despite evacuation orders. Highway 6 is used to divert traffic away from Eureka, and a section of Highway 6 at Redwood Road is reported closed.
