The areas affected include, in Minnesota, Crowing, Northern Aitken, Itasca, Cass, Cook, Lake and Central and Northern St. Louis-Louis counties. This includes the tribal lands of the Grand Portage Reservation, the Malax Band, Big Sandy Lake area and the Boy Fort Band, Lake Vermilion, Nett Lake and Deer Creek areas. Other locations including Voyager's National Park. The entire boundary waters is also included. The hazardous weather conditions are expected from 7 p.m. Central Daylight time this evening through early Thursday morning. The following impacts are expected. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood prone locations. Additional details, multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are forecast this evening through late Wednesday night. This heavy rainfall may fall on top of already saturated soils from other recent heavy rainfall and lead to excessive runoff. Flash flooding is possible. At 3.18 p.m. Central Daylight time, a severe thunderstorm was located over Savannah Ported State Park, or 9 miles northeast of Big Sandy Lake, moving east at 55 miles per hour. Expected hazards include 70 mile per hour when gusts and quarter-size hail. This is a radar-indicated threat. The following impacts are expected, hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expects considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
