Carbon monoxide leak at Fort Atkinson factory

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews from multiple communities responded to a reported carbon monoxide leak at an industrial building near West Rockwell Avenue in Fort Atkinson. The building, which had about 100 employees inside, was evacuated, traffic was closed around nearby intersections, and several people who reported feeling ill were transported to a local hospital. Gas service was being shut off while crews monitored conditions and secured the scene.
