Transcript:
Okay. North Kansas City Hospital from North Kansas Fire Medic 99, Critical Patient Information, Trauma, Activation. We're currently on-scene with an approximately 17-year-old male, single occupant, unrestrained driver of a small vehicle versus truck, or unsure of the speed at this time. We've been on scene for extrication for approximately 40 minutes now. We're currently packaging the patient about to go en route. Looks like impact was to the front center of the vehicle, about two feet of an intruder on scene. We saw the steering wheel was bent, some spidering of the windshield. The patient was and remains unresponsive to verbal stimuli. GTS is about four or five. Patient looks to have some personal cyanosis. Flood pressure has been pretty soft during extrication, heart rates of rapid. Respirus have been pretty rapid and shallow as well. We've got an oral airway on the patient, a non-re breather at 15 leaves per minute, a C-car, and we've got the patient on the backboard. We've been unsuccessful getting IV access at this time. We might have to try an I-O. We've been having trouble getting the lung sounds as well and poor compliance with the non-rebrewery. We don't see any open fractures at this time. I'm seeing heavy bruising to the face, neck, and chest. The past side of the bottles I have is blood pressure 80 over 40, heart rate 140. Respir is at bow 50 and shallow. 89% on 15 leaves for a minute. ETA about two minutes. Epitian match without a sound injury. Train out 29-0-1 North East 72nd Street Department 242 at 1313.
