Big rig mail truck fire on I-80 near Gold Run

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews from multiple agencies responded to a commercial truck fire near the Gold Run rest area on westbound Interstate 80. Flames were reported from the tires and rear axle of the big rig trailer, which was carrying USPS mail. Responding units knocked down the fire and confirmed no extension into nearby wildland areas.
