Man struck in eye during assault at Golden City home

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic reports a 70-year-old man was apparently assaulted and struck in the left eye at a residence near Lincoln Street in Golden City. He was conscious, breathing, and bleeding from the head. The suspected assailant left for another residence, and deputies and rescue units were dispatched to the scene.
