Man arrested on felony arson warrant

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers contacted and detained a male arson suspect in the parking lot east of a gas station on Broadway in Grand Junction. The suspect was taken into custody on a felony arson warrant from the local police department. In a separate call, officers were asked to check on the welfare of a 46-year-old woman who did not appear for an appointment at a Main Street address.
