Man follows and assaults woman on Maple Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers received reports of a man following and apparently assaulting a woman walking near Maple and Oak Streets in Greenville. Callers said the man, in a dark gray Jeep and later on foot, allegedly struck her, leaving visible scrapes, and that he remained in the area near Maple just south of Cedar Crest.
