Cooking smoke sets off restaurant fire alarm

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a commercial fire alarm at a restaurant in a mall on Russell Street in Hadley. The alarm was reportedly triggered by cooking smoke when the exhaust system was not turned on. Mall security first reported the audible alarm, and the alarm company later reported smoke in the dining area. Units also briefly coordinated about a separate solar panel inspection at a residence on Bay Road.
