Male suffers traumatic foot amputation by tractor

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded near Grant Street in the Hopedale area of Harrison County for a male with an apparent traumatic foot amputation reportedly caused by a tractor. Pressure was being applied to control bleeding, and a medical helicopter was contacted with an estimated arrival time of about 12 minutes to a nearby ball field landing zone before being placed on standby.
