Runaway child found safe near Mansion and Merriman

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a report of a missing young child near East South Street on the south side. The caller reported that her child had run away on foot a few minutes earlier. The child was later located by the mother near the intersection of Mansion and Merriman, and police contact was still requested at that location.
