Man tries to steal from son’s vehicle and flees

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded near South Siskiyou Avenue in Kerman for a report of a man in his twenties, wearing black clothing, who had allegedly tried to steal items from a relative’s vehicle before leaving on foot to the south.
