Phone with crash alert found in roadway

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded near a business on C Street in Keyser for a possible stranded or stopped vehicle and a phone in the roadway showing a crash alert. Radio traffic also discussed a suspected gas drive-off involving a white Ford dually with a camper top and a Maryland license plate. No vehicles were found at the scene when officers arrived, and an officer took possession of the phone.
