Pursuit of assault suspect with knife ends in arrest

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers in the Laredo area pursued a pickup truck along Highway 359, the loop, and Highway 59 after reports that the driver was suspected in an earlier assault and may have been armed with a knife. Units attempted a maneuver to stop the vehicle on the loop near a hotel and the DPS office. The driver eventually left the vehicle and ran on foot before being apprehended, and the pursuit was terminated with the suspect in custody.
