Smoke in Laurens home from food in microwave

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Laurens responded to reports of smoke and sounding alarms at a single-family home on Wedgewood Drive. Responders found light smoke inside, apparently caused by food smoking in a microwave, and no active structure fire. Additional incoming units were canceled and units returned to service.
