High winds bring down tree limbs at Highline Lake

As discussed during the dispatch call, park staff responded to high winds at Highline Lake State Park, where tree limbs were falling in the day use area and Book Cliff campground. Visitors were moved away from trees and toward the beach house, and staff checked campsites for damage. Multiple downed branches were reported, but there were no apparent injuries. Staff also monitored a person on the bluffs in case a rescue was needed.
