I'm so sorry and ashamed of myself because I did the same thing once. I was only about 8-10 years old. Back then, in the late 60s and early 70s, many of the toy guns for kids looked real. Anyway, I don't know what got into me. I burst out onto our porch on 60th Street & 4th Avenue in LA and pointed the gun as if I'm firing it at a lady who was driving her car down 4th Ave. I never have forgotten the look on her face sure terror at my stupidity. The driver thought it was a real gun. She could have easily had an accident over that. Thank God it didn't happen. I'm sure that once the lady composed herself, she realized that I was only a kid and was playing. Bad things happen with anyone playing with a toy gun that looks real. Finally, during the late 70s, toy guns stopped looking real with bright colors, etc, to tell the difference.
