Phone scammer posing as marshal targets restaurant

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were sent to a restaurant on Saddle Lane in Madison for a report that an employee was contacted by someone claiming to be from the U.S. Marshals Service and was persuaded to provide payment using store funds and a travel card. The apparent phone scam was reported by the manager and the employee at the restaurant.
