Husband with dementia threatens wife and leaves home

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies responded to a reported family disturbance near a residence on County Road 36.5 outside Mancos. A caller reported that her husband, who has dementia, had threatened her and been verbally aggressive after she took away his car keys on medical advice. He reportedly left the home on foot, and the caller and neighbors were checking the area for him. Prior contact reportedly involved minor property damage and concern that he might hurt himself and that his wife was afraid of him.
