Wire smoking near transformer behind house

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to reports of a smoking transformer behind a house near Dorchester Drive. A wire near the transformer was reportedly smoking, and the homeowner was advised to stay away until the power company and fire personnel arrived. No fire department action was ultimately needed. A separate medical call involved a woman who apparently fell and suffered a head injury at an assisted living facility on Merrick Avenue.
