Smoke alarm investigation at Mashpee residence

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a reported smoke alarm sounding at a residence on Great Neck Road South in Mashpee. Crews investigated a two-story wood-frame building with nothing visible from the outside. A hazmat team and a health official later cleared the scene and returned the property to the residents.
