Traffic stop for suspended license in Montrose

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies and state patrol conducted a traffic stop involving a Colorado vehicle near the 2100 block of North Townsend Avenue in Montrose. The vehicle initially left but was stopped again a short distance south of the original location. The driver reportedly had a suspended license and some confusion about the contact. Separately, deputies were asked to speak with people at the sheriff’s office lobby about an eviction matter and to return to a possible weapons-related incident.
