Apartment fire in high-rise on East 28th Street

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a working fire in an upper-floor apartment of a high-rise residential building on East 28th Street near 1st Avenue in Manhattan. All-hands resources were used, primary searches were reported negative, and firefighters reported water on the fire. Police were requested because of pit bulls inside the affected apartment.
