Fire alarm in elevator room on Bay Avenue

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a general fire alarm at a residential building near Bay Avenue and to a separate interior natural gas leak on the second floor of a building near Asbury Avenue and 49th Street. The fire alarm activation appeared to be in an elevator machine room or courtyard area, and the gas company requested help ventilating the gas-filled property.
