Dog injured by hook taken to animal hospital

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews were sent to a public assist call near Tamiami Trail East, where a dog reportedly had a hook in its nose. Dispatch later advised that the caller would take the animal to a nearby animal hospital, and the responding engine was returned to service.
