Riding lawnmower fire in front yard on 8th Avenue

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported riding lawnmower fire in a front yard near 8th Avenue in Oelwein. Responders used an extinguisher to put out the fire and stayed on scene briefly to monitor the equipment as it cooled. The burned mower was expected to remain by the curb overnight.
