Apartment fire alarm caused by food on stove

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported fire alarm at an apartment within a Hartman Avenue complex in Onancock. Units arrived to find no active fire, and the situation appeared to involve food left on a stove. Additional responding units were told they could stand down.
