Driver runs stop sign and nearly hits patrol car

As discussed during the dispatch call, radio traffic reports a possible traffic incident involving a maroon or red newer GMC or Ford-style vehicle that allegedly ran a stop sign near highway 407 by Pine Ridge and nearly struck an officer’s unit. The vehicle reportedly continued north on 407 toward a four-way intersection as officers were unable to immediately obtain the license plate and one unit indicated being involved in a possible collision.
