Welfare check requested for elderly man with firearm access

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were dispatched for a welfare check on an older man at a residence near Pierce Court Northeast in Renton. The reporting party said he has a history of mental health issues and suicidal thoughts, was previously taken into custody by police, is refusing to answer the door, and may have access to a firearm.
