Person stabbed near Hunters Woods Plaza trail

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers and medics responded to a reported stabbing near the Hunters Woods Plaza trail area in Reston. A person was found conscious and alert with an apparent stab wound to the right bicep, and tourniquets had been applied. The suspected assailant reportedly ran west along the trail toward Reston Parkway and was not located at the scene, and only a limited description was available.
