Young children left alone at Reston hotel front desk

As discussed during the dispatch call, police responded to a welfare concern for three small children reportedly left at the front desk of a hotel on Sunset Hills Road, with no parent or guardian immediately located. The children may have been with an adult who checked out earlier and said they were not responsible for them. Dispatch later reported finding a phone number for a woman who has a protection order involving her and two children.
